Wisdom for Women!

Hello ladies,

I’m assuming you are a lady reading this *winks*

I got this very wise email from a woman I respect so much and I thought I should share it…

Beauty attracts men, but wisdom keeps them.
Elegance catches men’s attention, but intelligence convinces them.
Nagging irritates men, but ‘constructive silence weakens men.
The boy in every man pumps out occasionally, your ability to handle this, is a woman’s truest maturity.
Men have secret struggles and silent pains, should you ever find them out, exhibit the greatest maturiy .
ln the long-run your ‘words’ matters more to a man than your ‘looks’, so invest the right words.
Earn a man’s respect and he will consider you the yard stick for all his action.
Learn to mold the moods of your man. Men will naturally give you their futures,
if they can recall your maturity in yesterday’s issues.
Women are every where, but queens are scarce.
Let the queen in you come alive and he will hold you in high esteem.

Very true! Ain’t it?

Two things you should never do about love…

Just two things on my mind I need to voice out…

 To y’all  guys out there:

“when you love a lady, and you KNOW it is love, don’t be heavy-mouthed or hesitant! Just walk up to her and TELL her! She ain’t gonna be there forever!”

To y’all ladies:

“when you find love, and you KNOW it is love, never let it go ‘cos that’s silly!”

*clears throat*

I ain’t saying more than that!

Full stop!

Nigerians: Would you come back home?

Hi there!

Thanks for taking time out to visit this page.

I have been doing a lot of thinking in recent times, and one of those thoughts is what inspired me to post this poll.

A lot has happened in Nigeria in the past few weeks, and a lot is still happening. I have heard great men speak of the immense potential Nigeria has as a nation, I have heard prophecies, I have wondered why this country still stands as one despite all she has been through, I have heard my friends and peers alike share their diverse opinions on the future and the plight of this country. At the same time, I have heard sad stories of violence, corruption, wickedness, and complete disregard for law and order.

Hmmmm! My heart is heavy…

I know that as a nation, Nigeria is blessed with young men and women with hopes and dreams and potentials (intellectual, financial, physical…etc) all crying out for expression. Some may never get the chance to go beyond the borders of this country, but still a good number of Nigerian youths will find themselves having the opportunity to get outside Nigerian shores either to further education, vacation or job placements….

In the light of all we see happening around us, if you, as a Nigerian, find yourself outside the shores of this country, and you had a chance to decide whether or not to return, what would your choice be?

Kindly vote in this poll and share the link to friends, so we can have a sizable number of participants in this poll and draw reasonable conclusions.

Here it is….

Do you (still) believe in the Nigerian dream?

Please feel free to drop in your comments…

God bless Nigeria!

Make or Mar: The power of the Tongue…

The power of the Tongue…

We have heard it over and over again that there is power in the tongue. But hey! the thing is, we hear so many things and even chant them, but how much of it do we actually internalize, how much of it do we understand? How much of the great things we hear do we actually make our guiding principles?

Your tongue and the words you speak are so powerful and highly effective – positively and negatively. See your words as seeds planted in the heart of those who hear it. Every day we communicate with people (in written or spoken words), we plant seeds that will definitely grow… seeds that will make or mar!

What seeds have you planted today?

I know it is generally believed that women speak three times more than men (I wonder how true that is…), so ladies please take special note of the seeds you sow! *winks*

Learn to add value with the words you speak. If you must say something, think before you open your mouth. And hey! who says you must say something anyway?

You might as well do this…

Seal your lips!

Challenge yourself!

Wow! I am actually doing this…
